A graduate of Walt Whitman High School, he was a two-sport athlete playing both lacrosse and basketball. He played two collegiate seasons at Suffolk Community College, earning First Team All-Region honors and the Coaches Award for leadership and work ethic. He went on to complete his lacrosse career at Adelphi University.
Following his collegiate career, he played Semi-Pro basketball in the ABA with the New York Hoop Dragons, where he became a back-to-back All-Star and averaged 18.2 points per game. His experience across multiple levels of competition now drives his approach to player development, emphasizing confidence, skill refinement, discipline, and game IQ.
